Mustangs Move On To Round Three of The LLFHL Play Offs!
The Novice B group traveled to Stratford Monday night and swept away the Aces moving them on to round three of the LLFHL play offs. Coming off a very competitive weekend the Mustangs kept the stampede rolling. Carson Lean brought her play off "A" game and started the scoring banging in a puck from Lynsey Goodwin on a scramble out front of the Aces net. She then took it up a notch and netted her second on a beautiful wrist shot in the third, assits from Sydney Healey and Leah LeCourtois on the back end.
Landyn Meadows showed her patience and soft hands as she steered in the third and final marker on an assit from Ria Hamilton. Alexa Milne made several stellar saves throughout the game to hold the Stangs lead and secure her 21st shut out. This moves the team into the finals of their LLFHL loop and a chance to make it to the final four in Lower Lakes Novice B division. The Mustangs now prepare for their final OWHA play down game Saturday vs the Guelph Thunder. Great job ladies! Way to finish the series, see you on Wednesday!
