Coach's Corner: Game vs Woolwich
Tough loss last night team ! We didn't give up and worked hard. However girls if we don't get shots on net we don't score and we don't win! Only 10 shots on net. Seen the def. getting caught flat footed. You have to be moving and not standing still. As well we suffered again from lack of communication on the ice.Lack of trust in line mates and trying to do to much and not knowing what your line mates are doing. We need to be verbal and loud and proud on the ice and on the bench! Communication with your line mates is something we need to improve on. As well we need more spirit and enthusiasm on the bench! You guys got to get fired up and keep fired up the whole game. >>>
Seen some nice puck rushing by Kaylee! The finish will come good job! Seen Esmee carrying and handling the puck with more confidence. Well done. The line of Emma ,Erica and Esmee worked the triangle very well. Happy to see the things we do in practice being thought about and used. We will have another shot at Woolwich! Hold your heads high we ll do better next game Jan 3rd Vs Mount Forest @ Home. We ll start the new year fresh and FIRED UP!!!! Our first half of our season has been a great success and the second half will only get better. Tourni in Jan in Orangeville then comes Playoffs, playdowns and Provincials .
