Kyla Kolawlik Memorial Tournament 2012
An exciting finish to our 2011/2012 tournament season!! See the previous article (Friday the 13th) for the recap of game one as this was just the beginning to a fun filled weekend. Great team work, a couple of "firsts" for a few of our players and a ton of fun!!
Game 2 - Healthy win over the Wilmot #2 team with a final score of 9-1. Points were earned as follows:
Presley D (3 goals. Her First ever Hat Trick!!!), Jessica B (2 goals), Natalie B (2,1), Natalie Z (1,1), Zoey R (2 assts), Rachel P (2 assts), Jaxon C (1 asst), Karla M (1 asst), Bryanna (1,1).
Game 3 - Successful win over the Stratford team, final score 9-1. Points were earned as follows:
Bryanna F (5,2), Zoey R (1,1....first goal of the season), Natalie Z (1,1), Natalie B (1 goal), Presley D (1,1), Rachel P (2 assts), Jaxon C (1 assts).
GOLD MEDAL VICTORY!!! Grand River Mustangs 2 - Waterloo Ravens 0
Probably the fastest paced game our girls have played to date! Two quick goals at the beginning of the game and they had to fight hard to maintain their win. Points earned as follows: Bryanna F (1 goal), Natalie B (1 goal), Jaxon C (1 asst), Sara Shaw (1 asst).
