A Nail Biter To The End!!!
The Novice B Mustangs played in Fergus on Sunday and managed to get their second win in 2 games. In a very close game right up to the end, the Mustangs were able to walk away with a 1-0 win against the Burlington Baracudas. The girls played very hard in this well deserved win for the team. Way to go girls!
Burlington came to town to play a very determined Mustangs team. The last game between these two teams ended in a tie so each team was determined to prove their team was better in this game. Goaltending was one of the biggest factors, the goalies from both teams played well, but it was Logan Jeffries that earned her first shut-out of the year for the Mustangs. It was also Logan's very first game playing goalie, great job Logan! The only scoring in the game came from Olivia Kosempel with the assists on the goal going to Carolina Rossi and Amanda Johnston. Great game girls, lets keep the strong play going next weekend in our rematch against Guelph.
