Mustangs Rebound With Great Road Effort
The girls travelled to Kitchener on Saturday to take on the Dolphins. We came out strong and played perhaps our best game of the year. We passed the puck to open players and played our postions very well as we came away with a 4-1 victory. Scoring the goals were Big Mac, Mielle, Shan and Yasmin with her first of the year. The most impressive take away from the game was the play of our defensive pairings of Sarah/Tessa & Bella/Sid. Very strong on the offensive blue line to keep the puck in and as well as in our end by keeping the shots allowed down. The coaching staff was extremely pleased to see how far all of our girls have come this year, not only the individual development but together as a team.
