Season Opener
Peewee 2 opened their season last Tuesday in Fergus against our friends and rivals (at least for one night) Peewee 1.
We came out flying in the first period with some strong rushes from Rachel S. that resulted in two goals by Stephanie who was in the right spot to pick up the rebound. Isabel picked up an assist on the second goal. Peewee 1 fought back and made the score 2-1 with a seeing eye shot from the point. Minutes later Stephanie was once again in the right spot to pot her third of the game for the natural hat trick. Presley and Olivia earned the assists on the final goal.
Catie played well in her first game as goalie since atom.
We held on to the two goal lead the rest way to earn our first win. Great effort girls!!
Our next game is not until October 26th.
