Solid Effort in Fergus
The North Halton Twist girls came to town on Sunday to take on the Mustang Novice B girls. The Mustangs came out strong and took the lead with just over a minute left in the first period. Alli Pettifer fought hard for the puck in the corner and passed it out front to an open Morgan Robinson who raised the puck over the North Halton goalie for her third goal of the year. North Halton took over after that and managed to score 3 unanswered goals to take a 3-1 lead. With only 35 seconds left in the game, Alli took the face off and rushed to the net for a break away goal. The final score of the game was 3-2.
