Still Alive! Ha ha!
Just like the old girl says - Mustangs are still alive! In game three of a very challenging OWHA play down series the Stangs were able to scrap out a 1-1 tie last night in the Royal City. In a series where the Mustangs have played very well at times, and not so well at others, finally a little "puck luck" went the girls way as Brynn Hattle's point shot deflected past the Gryphons goal keeper mid way through the third. Assists to Carson Lean and Lynsey Goodwin. This after absolutely pelleting their opponent with chance after chance and allowing very few scoring chances against.
This puts the series a 2 wins for Guelph and a tie. Games four and five will go this weekend and settle who gets the Provincial Championships birth. Like eating an elephant ladies - a daunting task but just take it one bite at a time!
