Atom Mustangs Grab Silver!
The Atom Mustangs played their way into the C Pool Championship by winning their last three games to clinch a spot in the finals to face the Cambridge RoadRunners.
The girls of Grand River knew they were in for a tough game against a very strong Cambridge team. When the smoked cleared the Mustangs winning streak was over and a much deserved silver medal was waiting for the girls. The girls held their heads high and congratulated the winners with class.
Although the final didn't go our way, to see how far we have come as a team was very rewarding to see. The hard work that the girls put in paid off with the development they displayed on Sunday. I was proud to be your coach this year, thank you for a rewarding season and I will see you at the rink in September.
