Atom Mustangs on the Road to the Provincials!
It's been a busy few weeks for our Atom Mustangs, after getting bumped from the Lower Lakes Playoffs by the Wilmot Wolverines. The girls have been hard at work trying to be one of three teams to qualify out a pool of six in our Provincial Playdowns.
Our Mustangs, though, haven't been satisfied to just qualify...they have been on a mission to finish first in their pool. Following wins over: Caledon, Brampton, Orangeville, Guelph, and a tie against North Halton, the girls finished Playdowns with 9 out of a possible 10 points, and a first place finish in their pool! A number of practices and some potential exhibition games lay ahead as the girls prepare for the Provincials Tournament in Mississauga April 9-12.
