Bantam 1 as well as Bantam 2 played in the Sarah Backstrom Memorial Tournament over the weekend and had a fabulous weekend. Bantam 1 girls played 4 awesome hard fought games but were put out in the semi finals by their sister Bantam team. Teams played and scores are:
Friday afternoon: Hamburg Hawks 2 – 2 tie
Friday evening: CIHC Ice Eagles 7 – 0 win
Saturday afternoon: North Pgh Wildcats 0 – 1 loss
Sunday morning: Grand River Mustangs 1 vs 2; Bantam 2 won 2 – 1
The coaches, staff and parents are extremely proud of the Bantam 1 girls and their effort!
