U18B Mustangs Grab Gold!
Making their fourth finals appearance in their last five tournaments, the U18B Mustangs picked up gold this past weekend at the Remembrance Day Classic.
After dropping the opening game Friday night to St Thomas, the Stangs needed to win both games on Saturday to secure a spot in the finals. The Grand River girls did just that with convincing wins over London (5-0) and Kincardine (3-0) to set themselves up for a rematch versus St Thomas for the gold. The Mustangs came out flying on Sunday and played one of their strongest games of the season to take the final game 4-0.
It was a great team effort from each and every player on the roster that allowed the U18B Stangs to showcase their skills and tenacity for the home town fans.
