Mustangs Tame Tigers
Fresh off their gold medal win on Sunday, the girls didn't have time to sit back and relax. Next up was game #3 of OWHA playdowns and a road date with the Orangeville Tigers.
This was the first meeting with the Tigers this season and Grand River was coming in playing some of their best hockey of the season. The Stangs dictated the pace of the game and it was the road team that controlled much of the play. Hal, Kai and My all scored in the second period and "Roons" put it away with her own goal in the third. It was the second straight shutout for the Mustangs in OWHA play.
The girls have a day off to rest and get healthy before game #4 Thursday night at home against Guelph.
