Novice B's earn silver in Cambridge!
The Grand River Mustangs Novice B rep team took home a well earned silver medal at the Cambridge Roadrunners New Years Challenge this past weekend.

After a hard fought 2-0 victory over the host Cambridge Roadrunners in the semi-finals the girls managed to give the top seeded Burlington Barracudas everything they could handle in the tournament final.

Despite constant pressure and countless shots on net the Mustangs could not find a way to get the puck past the Burlington net minder. Eventually Burlington managed to sneak a couple of lucky ones into the Mustang net. It remained that way until the final 3 minutes when Burlington managed to take advantage of pressing Mustangs team and pot a couple of late goals.

Congratulations to all the girls on a weekend of outstanding hockey!
