Rep U9 Coaching Announcement: Jess Plourde
The Mustangs are absolutely thrilled to announce that Jess Plourde will be the Rep U9 Head Coach! Jess brings an enthusiastic and positive coaching style that places a strong focus on meeting the individual needs of the athletes, developing fundamental hockey skills, cooperation, fair play, building positive team dynamics and, above all, keeping it fun!
When you meet Jessica, you will immediately appreciate the passion she brings to coaching and her commitment to women’s hockey. Jessica strongly believes that hockey can bring a wealth of positive experiences from helping to build strong social connections and self-confidence to developing a joy for the game that can form the foundation for a healthy active lifestyle throughout one’s lifetime.
Jessica has coached high school hockey and most recently she was the coach of this year’s U7 Mustangs. Jessica grew up playing girl’s hockey in Ottawa and continues to play in the Guelph Women’s Hockey Association.
