📢 Coaching Announcement – U18 Tier 1 📢
The Grand River Mustangs are excited to welcome Kevin Penson as the Head Coach for our U18 Tier 1 team for the upcoming season! 🎉
Kevin brings a wealth of experience in coaching, officiating, and mentoring young athletes. As a dedicated dad of two, he has been involved in rep hockey since his daughter started playing at U11, with time spent in both the Guelph Gryphons and Mustangs programs.
Beyond hockey, Kevin has been a Tier 1 softball coach for 5+ years, a longtime referee, and an off-ice official with the OHL’s Guelph Storm. His passion for sports extends beyond the rink—he enjoys golfing, snowmobiling, and ATVing with his son.
Kevin’s coaching philosophy is all about developing players, fostering a love for the game, and making sure the season is both fun and challenging. He is committed to helping the girls grow on and off the ice while ensuring they enjoy every step of their hockey journey.
