The Grand River Mustangs are proud to announce Jenna Marcone as the U9 B Head Coach for the upcoming 2026/27 season!
Jenna brings a genuine passion for the game and a heartfelt commitment to developing the next generation of Mustangs.
Jenna grew up playing ringette before falling in love with hockey in high school, and that journey gives her a unique and empathetic perspective on players who are just beginning to find their game. She has coached at the U7 and U9 levels and is also a hockey mom with two daughters in the rep stream, giving her a deep understanding of this experience from every angle.
What makes Jenna truly special is that her love for hockey never stopped — she still laces up and plays several times a week for the love of the game, the workout, and the friendships it brings. Jenna is passionate about and fully invested in developing women's hockey, and she serves as a powerful role model for the young athletes in our program, showing them firsthand that hockey is a game for life.
Jenna's coaching philosophy centres on developing fundamental skills while maintaining a love of the sport and keeping it fun. She wants every player to leave the ice smiling and eager to come back. "I want kids to see that hockey is more than just wins and losses — it's about working hard, doing your best, and building friendships that last."
