Dressing Room Supervisors
Dressing Room Supervisors (Den Mom's) are required by OWHA to provide a safe and comfortable dressing room environment with proper supervision for the player and team officials. For more information please see the OWHA Policies and Procedures surrounding dressing rooms.
As we gear up for another exciting season, a quick reminder for all dressing room supervisors you must complete the following before the season starts. ✅
Requirements are as follows:
(1) Obtain an up to date vulnerable sector check within the last three years. For the 2025-2026 season, vulnerable sector checks must have been obtained in 2023 or later. The volunteer letter required to complete the vulnerable sector check can be found here: Mustang_Letter_2025-2026_(1)_(1).pdf , please leave the "Member" line blank.
(2) Upload your Vulnerable Sector Check (or Vulnerable sector check receipt) to the Ontario Hockey Federation: your vulnerable sector check (or receipt from vulnerable sector check) must be uploaded to the Ontario Hockey Federation for the 2025/2026 season. Please note the instructions vary by situation (i.e. for returning volunteers, new vulnerable sector checks, those waiting on a vulnerable sector check, etc.). (3) Obtain mandatory credentials :
Mandatory courses for dressing room supervisors for the 2025/2026 are listed below. If you have previously completed these courses these do not need to be taken again:
(i) Respect in Sport for Activity Leader
(ii) Gender Identity and Inclusion
(4) Send Completed documents to your team manager:
Under your Spordle account , access your member profile. Send proof to your team manager of:
(i) your background checks tab with "Completed" Status
(ii) your qualifications tab for your mandatory credentials with the "Completed" Status.
