Atom 1 Wins Local League Championship

The Grand River Atom 1 Mustangs won the C Pool Championship of the Kitchener Girls Hockey League.  In the Semifinal game, they defeated Cambridge by a score of 5-4 in a game that went to a shootout.  They advanced to the Local League Championship where they defeated Stratford 4-1.  Congratulations to the Atom 1 Girls. 

Pictured from left to right (goalie): Hannah Wilson, (front row):Elizabeth Leno, Sophia Thiessen, Paiton Schneider, Macy Doran, Kayley Asplen, Avigail Keagan, (back row) Veda Thompson, Alyssa Mulvey, Avery Crane, Amy Ayranto, Raya Keating, Gracie Sanchioni, Ciara Hayne, Maddy Cormack, (absent) Grace Schmidt.  The team was coached by Rob Crane, Pete Ayranto, Ross Schneider, Kary Thiessen, and Pat Cormack.  Team Manager was Diana Sanchioni.
