Peewee 2 Takes the Gold!!
Submitted By Jodi McDuffe on Monday, November 13, 2017
Congratulations to our 2 Peewee LL teams on their success in the Mt. Forest Girls Classic Tournament this Weekend.

Congratulations to PeeWee 2.... they came away from an exciting weekend of hockey in the Mount Forest Rams Girls Classic Hockey Tournament with the gold medal! The girls played amazing and were undefeated with game scores of 4-0 against Mount Forest, 3-0 Walkerton, 5-0 Kitchener, 2-1 semi final against our Mustang PeeWee 1 and the final game 2-0 against Mitchell.

Perhaps the most thrilling game of the weekend was against the other Mustang team in the semi finals.  It was a nail biting game that could have gone either way.   Up until this point in the year PeeWee 2 had played 7 games and not only had they won all 7 games but goalie Adrianna Gemin had come away from all 7 games with shutouts.  PeeWee 1 put an end to this streak and is now the only team to have scored on PeeWee 2 in 9 games of play.

It is so great to see the girls gelling as a team, playing like one and have a great time so far this year…Congratulations PeeWee 2 on your gold!

Congratulations to All the Peewee Mustangs!! It was a very successful tournament!!
