Important Local League News
All Local League families, please read the following updates...

1) We are still in need of Head Coaches at the following levels: Tyke (Tyke Leader is more of a facilitator/organizer), Novice (1), Bantam (1)…(we are projecting two teams at each level, except possibly Atom, pending continued registration)
Please Contact Kelly Brown, VP Local League, if you have an interest in volunteering for any of these positions.

2) All Local League teams will have open practice ice times starting on Sept. 8th. These ice times are to be run cooperatively, by both coaches at each respective level, to help prepare girls for Ranking Day. Coaches may ask prospective assistant coaches to help with these on ice sessions, until rosters are set. One Trainer must also be present for each session. All registered Local League players are encouraged to attend!

3) Ranking Day is scheduled for Saturday September 22nd. Please refer to the Mustang Calendar to confirm your scheduled time. All players are expected to attend this ice time. On this day players will participate in drills and a scrimmage. Head Coaches (and a Mustang Board Member) will rank players and submit these rankings to impartial volunteer, who will evenly distribute players to create balanced teams.

4) Goalies: we are still looking for more girls interested in playing this position for the upcoming season! Goalie training will be available for those who commit to playing "between the pipes"!
