Bantam 2 Brings Home Gold from the USA!!

The Mustangs LL Bantam 2 won Gold medals at the 26th Annual Sarah Backstrom tournament in Erie, PA on February 9th.The girls represented Mustangs and Canada in a hard fought weekend that they’ll remember forever.Congratulations Bantam 2!!  

W3-1 vs Armstrong Arrows (NY state)
W1-0 vs Webster Cyclones (PA state)
W3-0 vs Buffalo Shamrocks (NY state)
W2-1 vs Mustangs Bantam 1 (Semi-final)
W 2-0 in a rematch against Webster Cyclones for Gold

    The Bantam 2 team are a perfect 2-0 for tournaments this season!  After winning Gold in November at the GRM Tournament of Poppies they also took home Gold Medals at the 25th Annual Jason Cripps Tournament on December 30th.

    The girls played hard and went undefeated into the finals. Battling hard they tied it up with 1:26 left on the clock and came out champions with an overtime win! Way to go Peewee 1!
