The Mustangs are pleased to welcome back
Coach Steve Smeltzer for our U11 Local League. Coach Steve began playing hockey at the age of four in Fergus. His love for the game kept him playing competitively in the rep stream until he was 18.
Along with understanding the importance of teaching new skills, he stresses FUN as being most important. "If you're not having fun playing, then you'e not enjoying hockey."
Steve and the rest of the bench staff were so proud of the Mustangs U11 team last season, as they brought home the gold. He is looking forward to another fun-filled season.
