The Mustangs are excited to announce a partnership with Tory Harshman!
Tory Harshman is joining the Mustangs as the Director of Player Development; her focus is to execute a development strategy for our Rep program helping us achieve our growth plans as an organization. She will begin her tenure with the Mustangs working closely with our U18 Rep program and preparing U15 players to make the transition in subsequent seasons. Tory brings a wealth of experience in Elite hockey and will help teams push their skills to become better players. Volunteering in the hockey community isn’t new for Tory, as a co-creator for a hockey camp in Owen Sound, she excels at training in small groups. Most recently Tory has been a skating and skills instructor for WGHA.
Some more on Tory’s background. Tory played for the Saugeen Maitland Lightning as well as the Owen Sound Minor Hockey, OSGH Ice Hawks, St. Mary's High School, and other local teams. She received scholarships to Robert Morris University and Adrian College where she won three conference titles thanks to her junior seasons with Barrie and Etobicoke. She led her squad in scoring and ended as Captain. While pursuing her master's degree, she continued to work at Adrian as an assistant coach. Following the completion of her playing eligibility and her return to Canada, Tory is currently employed by the Waterloo Region as a police officer.
We can’t wait for you to meet her!
