Tryout registration is now open. We look forward to welcoming new and returning players to pre-tryout prep sessions and into the team selection process for the 2024/25 season!

- The Mustangs will have Tier 1 and Tier 2 rep teams at all ages from U9-U18
- Often the incoming coach is not always able to be announced for many different reasons. Out of respect for our U13 and U15 tier 1 coaches, the incumbents will be announced closer to the beginning of those tryouts
- Tier 2 coaches will not e announced until part way through the Tier 1 tryouts. Each age group has many viable candidates for Tier 2, but we will allow their daughters the chance to tryout for Tier 1. During Tier 1 tryouts all girls will be evaluated simultaneously by Tier 2 evaluators so the observations will carry from one tier to the next.
- The Mustangs will utilize Laura McIntosh and her team to run many tryouts as well as a series of independent evaluators to help make accurate assessments of everyone's abilities. Know that the selection of players is a group decision.
As you consider this information, take the time to pump up your daughter. By maintaining a positive attitude, you can increase their chances of success. Unfortunately, some players will not receive the news they were hoping for. If this is the case, be receptive of the coach's feedback and recognize that many times this can set your daughter up for more success in the future.
Finally, consider the Mustangs Tryout Prep camps as this can ease your daughter into the tryout experience.
