The Grand River Mustangs are excited to announce Trevor Shody as the coach for the 2024/25 U13A team. Trevor’s coaching philosophy is to build relationships with the players and find ways to motivate each player in a way that suits them best. From Trevor, "I believe in a team first style where players understand their roles and can take pride in them. I want the girls to look forward to coming to the rink.”
The 2024/25 U13A program will place a focus on development. The team has been booked for 5 sessions with G&G Skate Training Centre in the Fall prior to the start of the season and families can expect that additional development will be added throughout the season. Laura McIntosh will lead the first tryout session starting tomorrow and families can expect that independent evaluations will be used to select the team.
With three daughters, all Mustangs, Trevor is well known around the rink and looking forward to taking the reins of the team next year. Players are encouraged to reach out to Trevor with any questions - trevor.shody@alectrautilities.com
