We've made arrangements with the University of Guelph Gryphons women's hockey team to come and watch them play the Waterloo Warriors on Thursday November 10th at the University of Guelph.
Guelph is currently in 2nd place in the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) so we should see some great women's hockey!!
We see this as a great opportunity for the girls to see a varsity-level hockey game in action and receive some positive mentoring from some of the team members.
We've made arrangements for the girls to meet with a few of the varsity team members before the game (6:30pm). The players will run the Mustangs through a varsity pre-game warm-up (20 minutes), show them the varsity changerooms and give them a bit of a pep talk/answer questions.
The girl will each be provided with a complimentary game pass. Parents /coaches can buy theirs at the door for $8/adult.
Please have the girls dress in their warm-up suits and we will bring the Mustangs jerseys for them to put on during the game.
Can you please confirm for me if your daughter will be attending by
Wednesday October 26th as I need to confirm the numbers with the Gryhons. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask either Bryan or myself. The game will be 1.5 - 2 hours in length.
