Bantam BB, 2015-2016, Rep (Grand River Mustangs)

Off to London we go-Sunday Oct 4- Another tough battle as both teams fought hard to come out on top.  This time the Mustangs opened the scoring at 6:34 in the first as Allison trickled one in past the London goalie off a Frankie pass.  Kam was solid as ever in the net with many great saves but an unlucky tip got through early in the third.  The Mustangs continued to fight hard for the puck but once again the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Great start to the season girls!  You showed some true grit and most will have the bumps and bruises to go with it.  Amazing team effort this weekend!

After an exciting first tournament win in Niagara Falls. 2015/16 season begins with a home and home against the London Devilettes on Oct 3 weekend . Our Big D of Grace, Sophia, Rachel, McKenzie and Alexis were put to the test!  Saturdays game, London opened the scoring half way through the 1st poking one in under Leah's pad during a mad scramble.  Mustangs did not give up as they traded chances in the second and Leah controlled the game between the pipes.  3 minutes into the third Sophia scored with a beautiful shot from the point assisted by Frankie and Tianna. A hard fought 1-1 tie.
