Wow, what a great effort on Monday night in Elora! After Saturday's disappointing loss, the girls dug deep and matched Ayr's every move! Even missing Lindsay and Nicole, the girls worked extra hard to secure home ice in the Semi-Finals! Well done, girls, we were all very proud of the way you ALL played!!

The girls played one of their strongest games, at both ends of the ice, in weeks this morning in Elmira. Despite dominating the First Period, the girls were locked in a 0-0 tie. The Mustang girls then owned the next two periods, coming away with a 3-0 victory! Every girl on the team made excellent contributions, with Jody, Caron, Amanda, and Nicole coming close to scoring. In only her second game at centre, Keagan was all over the ice...creating scoring chances and drawing penalties! Goal scorers were: Micahela (2), and Taylor...assists will be recorded later!

Despite slow ice, and tired legs, the girls kept their Playoff roll going with a 3-2 in Cambridge. Well done girls, it takes a good team to win, even when you don't have your best game. Let's get our legs ready for the big ice in Elmira on Saturday morning!

The girls are really starting to play their positions well, and play as a team! A strong effort, against a determined Mustangs #1 team, ended up with a 5-2 victory for us! It looked like the other team had gained the momentum after tying the game at 2-2, but a big first goal of the regular season for Nicole put us in the lead for good! Another strong effort in net by Meredith, and great work by the defence marked this victory. Statistically speaking, every girl (other than the goalie) has now picked up at least one point this season! Way to go, girls!

The girls played really hard, after those two early goals. Meredith settled down and played a great game...especially that awesome glove save! Their goalie was hot all game, even though we had a great deal of pressure on her! Let's carry that effort into the next game, girls!
