U18B Mustangs Snag Silver in Toronto
The U18B Mustangs travelled to Toronto this weekend to take place in the 41st Annual March Break Madness tourney. Riding timely scoring and stingy defence, the girls finished the round robin undefeated and were the number one seed heading into the gold medal game. Although playing their best hockey of the tourney on Sunday, they suffered their first loss of the weekend and dropped a 1-0 decision to take home the silver. Jade McCracken was named tourny MVP for the Mustangs.
It was a complete team effort from every player, they walked out of the arena with heads high and were excellent representatives of Grand River Mustangs hockey.
