Awesome effort team ! Lots of good things last night.
Good to see a team effort. The whole room contributed and each of you
made a step forward in this teams development. You should be proud. We
are ! We seen our new power play executed successfully resulting in a
goal And we haven't even practiced it. We saw more confident puck
movement with moves ! Quick hands ! Quick feet ! Really nice to see. We
were first to the puck. We played aggressive on the fore check and back
check. We were winning the battles and all with ZERO penalty minutes.
See this is what I'm talking about Playing our aggressive but clean
style on the ice and not in the box. Well executed ladies !
Great goal tending from Josie with the shut out !!! Only a few things that where not so good. A few bad line changes. I should not have to repeatedly have to scream your name. Your shifts should be no more than 40-45 seconds !! If your on 1 min. + your on to long. Even though you think you can make that one last big play or rush. You need to be discipline enough to know to get the puck over center dump it deep and peel off to the bench so a fresh line can pick up the play deep in the offensive zone. A good player at this age and at this level should know this without the coach even calling for the change. And quick to the bench. Keep your eye on the play but don't focus on getting back into the play. Focus on getting off as quickly as possible. You know when you have been on to long. Also some head down blind dumps out of the defensive zone We either need head up quality passes, cycling to your partner or carry into the neutral zone and over center and in. Congratulations to the player of the game Steph. Good wheels Steph good effort !!! Alison and Tegan will be filling in for Erica and Steph today. Go get us another win and climb that standing ladder with a 4 point week end. Unfortunately I won't be with you today but your in good hands and I will be watching my phone and looking for the play by play. Go get them girls. You know we can do this and can keep it going. Confidence !!!! Consistency !!!! Dig Hard !!!! Dig Deep !!!!
