Quick Two Gets Four
It's been a crazy busy few weeks for the Pee Wee BB ladies but they are weathering the test nicely. Monday and Wednesday nights were two home tilts of the six game OWHA Playdowns. Monday the were able to defeat the North Halton Twisters 4-0 with a dominating third period. Frances Wolkensperg and Nat Beilhartz each popped a pair with helpers from Montgomery, Gunn, Patterson and Dietrich.
Wednesday was a physical affair but the Stangs were able to grind out a 2-0 besting of the Tabbies from Orangeville. Kate Mabey scored in the second from Gunn and Beilhartz and Beilhartz potted the empty netter from Gunn in the third. The Pepsinator was of course at home between the pipes for both shut outs. Keep it going girls, just a little longer and your hard work and dedication will be rewarded. You make us proud.
