Bantam BB, 2017-2018, Rep (Grand River Mustangs)

With the end of a fantastic season in sight, the Bantam BB Mustangs had one more tournament this past weekend in North York. With 24 teams from across Ontario competing for the gold, the girls of Grand River would have their work cut out for them.

After winning three straight OWHA play down games without surrendering a goal, the Bantam BB Mustangs had one last game on the playoff schedule with the Brampton Canadettes.

OWHA game #4 for Grand River would see Lower Lakes rival Guelph Gryphons come to town for a Thursday night game at the Corral. Although playing with a short bench, the Bantam BB Mustangs have been flying in OWHA play downs as well as winning gold in Brantford a week ago. With that success, there wasn't much need to change anything as far as a game plan was concerned.

Fresh off their gold medal win on Sunday, the girls didn't have time to sit back and relax. Next up was game #3 of OWHA playdowns and a road date with the Orangeville Tigers.

Taking a break from OWHA playdown action, the Bantam BB Mustangs headed down to Brantford to compete in the 37th Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament.
