Mustangs 1, Wolverines 1 ......AGAIN!
For the second straight meeting and the third time in four, the top two teams in the loop battled to a 1-1 tie. It is a testament to how evenly matched these two opponents are. Scoring chances were very limited as Landyn Meadows scored the solo marker roofing a shot over the Wilmot goal tender - once again showing her improved ability to raise the biscuit. Shortly after, the Wolverines took advantage of a power play and knotted it a one. Tight play continued throughout the third and despite the Mustangs generating the greater number of chances time ran out leaving the affair even.
