The Thunder Rolls the Stangs
The final regular season game saw the Mustangs get caught in a perfect storm. The Guelph Thunder played their best game of the season, according to one coach, and bested the Novice B group 0-1. The Stangs had several chances early in the first but were unable to make good on any of them and Guelph kept rolling hard. Alexa Milne stood on her head and turned away chance after chance keeping her mates in the game but eventually the Thunder stormed one in. That was enough as energy and time ran out on the Mighty Mustangs as they suffered their 3rd loss of the season. The group looks to build on this learning experience as they play in the Orangeville tournament on the weekend.
