Exhibition Game #3 - A nail-biter
The Mustang Novice girls took to the road for their second away game on their exhibition schedule. Their fans found the pace on the ice to be much faster than the drive to Stratford. The Mustangs opened the scoring early in the first period with a goal from Keira. Another Mustangs goal was scored by Brynn, and at the end of the first period the score was tied at 2. It was obvious that this game was going to be a nail-biter for their fans.
Stratford scored a couple of goals late in the second period to take a 4-2 lead. But Alli was playing a strong game in net and was giving the team a chance for a comeback. The Mustangs finished strong with two goals in the third period from Logan and Olivia, but ended up with a 5-4 loss. The team will play one more exhibition game on Thursday at home against Waterloo.
