PeeWee 2 (8432), 2013-2014, LL (Grand River Mustangs)

Last weekend the ladies played 2 games, and put forth a strong effort in both games.

Peewee 2 came out ready to skate today in Kitchener.  Everybody skated hard and attacked the puck.  In the first period Olivia rushed the puck end to end, shot the puck on net and went hard to the net looking for a rebound.  She got her own rebound and put it home for her first of the year. We had a couple of defensive breakdowns that resulted in breakaways but Catie was there to shut the door to earn her first shutout of the season. Rachel S provided some excitement with a pretty rush in the third period and Megan shut down one of their rushes by never giving up on the back check.

Peewee 2 opened their season last Tuesday in Fergus against our friends and rivals (at least for one night) Peewee 1.
