Tie in St. Clements
We travelled to St. Clements for a game against the Hericanes. It was a back and forth game with few scoring chances for either team in the first period.
In the 2nd period, the Hericanes took the lead after 3 minutes by pushing in a puck during a goalmouth scramble. We managed to tie the score just 3 minutes later on an unassisted goal from Keira. She shot towards the net from a bad angle and the puck rebounded in off a defenceman's skate. Just goes to show that it is never a bad idea to shoot.
For the rest of the game, Meredith made several good saves to keep the game tied, which is where it ended ... 1-1. We now have 3 home games in a row where we hope to get on a roll again.
