Early in the 2nd period, Ella Zwep was in the right place at the right time and managed to bang home a great rebound to tie the score at 1-1. Mackenzie assisted on the goal.

Avery Diljee's hard work also paid off as she scored early in the period to give the Mustangs a 2-1 lead. Revlyn McManus and CJ Pardy earned assists on the goal. Woolwich then scored 2 quick goals to take the lead at 3-2.

Amanda Johnston decided to tie it up by skating the length of the ice, deked out the Woolwich defenders, and then scored her first goal of the year.
