Twisted Up in Georgetown!
In exhibition game action on the weekend, the Mustang girls travelled to Georgetown to take on the North Halton Twisters. The girls started out very strong in the first period and kept the puck in the North Halton end of the ice for the majority of the time and took a 2-0 lead. Unfortunately, the Twisters managed to outskate the Mustang girls for the rest of the game and North Halton won the game 3-2.

Our final exhibition game is Monday night in Guelph against the Jr Gryphons - lets play hard and show them how strong we are!

Alli Pettifer had an awesome first period and managed to score two goals in the period. Assists on the goals went to Ella Zwep, Mackenzie Renaud, and Revlyn McManus. The Twisters took over in the second period and manged to tie up the game at 2-2. It was a battle both ways in the third period as both teams had great chances to score goals. The Twisters managed to score the only goal of the period to win the game 3-2.

Bree McLeod did an awesome job in net for the Mustangs as she demonstrated how well she can get down and use her pads to block the shots. Keep up the great work girls! Looking forward to a strong game in Guelph to finish off the exhibition season.
