This past weekend the Mustang Novice girls had a home and home series with Stoney Creek lined up. On Saturday they played on the road in Stoney Creek and left town with a 5-4 loss. On Sunday, the girls were able to make up for this loss by playing a very strong game which enabled them to a 4-2 victory. The effort shown by the girls in the Sunday game was amazing and it took the Sabres by surprise as the Mustangs dominated the game from beginning to end. Great work girls!!!

Submitted
By RepNovice on Nov 06, 2013 (766 views)
In the second half of a home and home series with Guelph, the Mustangs pulled off another decisive win of 9-0 over the Gryphons. All the girls played hard and this proved to be too much for the young Gryphon team from Guelph. The Mustangs dominated the play of the game from beginning to end and this allowed the opportunity for the coaches to move some of the forwards back to defence and visa versa. We have a tough game coming up this Saturday against Oakville girls, so lets keep the offense rolling!

Mustang girls get twisted again....
Submitted
By RepNovice on Nov 03, 2013 (782 views)
The Mustang Novice B girls have battled against the first place North Halton Twisters twice so far this year and lost both games by only one goal. Yesterday afternoon, the Mustangs traveled to Milton in hopes of changing this trend. The girls played hard but found it difficult to get the puck past the North Halton goalie and left town with a 4-2 loss. Good try girls, I know we can beat the Twisters next time if we continue to work hard during all practices and games.
